Stardust Telepath TV Series

Umika Konohoshi is a high-school student whose severe stage fright makes talking to other people difficult. Unable to make friends, she feels that there is no place for her on Earth, yet clings to the hope that somewhere in the universe there must be someone her words can reach.

Arriving at her school entrance ceremony with a little hope and a great deal of anxiety, Umika meets a mysterious fellow first-year student, Yu Akeuchi, who introduces herself as an alien. Yu says that she crash-landed on Earth, lost her memories and is searching for a way back to space.

Believing that their dreams can come true if they stay together, the two begin high school with a shared promise to reach the stars. This delicate ensemble story of youthful ambition follows an introverted girl as her encounter with a self-proclaimed alien helps her pursue a dream and grow.

The live-action series is accompanied by a collection of director’s-cut scenes and an edited recording of the drama fan event Bonavu!! AKB48 Rocket Reunion. An original photobook and a papercraft rocket kit are included.
