Masakatsu Takagi A Time to Sing transforms melodies from Wolf Children, The Boy and the Beast and Mirai into a songbook. Takagi composed the music for these three Mamoru Hosoda films, whose worlds continue to be loved long after their original releases.
Five guest singers write new lyrics for melodies that once colored the films, giving them a new life as songs. Hana Hope, Clementine, Saho Terao, Ann Sally and Manami Kakudo join Takagi's free-flowing piano, shaped in surroundings close to nature. Their unusual collaborations invite the listener into a different musical world across thirteen recordings.
