Subete no Koi ga Owaru to Shitemo Blu-ray Box

There is one love you will never forget. Everything in this world must eventually come to an end. Even so, every love may be connected to another, somewhere. Wakana Aoi and Fuju Kamio share the screen for the first time in a bittersweet ensemble romance for everyone who has experienced the end of a relationship.

Aoi became a familiar face as the heroine of NHK’s 2017 morning drama Warotenka. Since then, she has worked widely in television and film and taken on demanding stage roles, including two contrasting parts in the 2024 production of The Good Person of Szechwan. Kamio was one of the four leads in Ichiban Suki na Hana in 2023 and went on to appear in Kururi: Dare ga Watashi to Koi o Shita? in 2024 and PJ: Air Rescue Squadron in 2025. Together they bring the story’s central couple to life.

Eight lives are carefully woven together around the two protagonists. Joichiro Fujiwara plays Mao’s closest friend since middle school, who grew up nearby and later attended the same high school as Mao and Yuu. Miyu Honda plays Mao’s younger sister, who has feelings for that childhood friend. Koki Yamashita plays a first-year student at the couple’s former school who loves novels, while Moeka Otsuka plays the girl who becomes interested in him and approaches him. Jin Shirasu plays a busy office worker with an unrequited love, and Yui Ichikawa plays the slightly older clothing-store buyer he admires.

The drama adapts Yozora Fuyuno’s collection of ultra-short love stories. Each captures a poignant romance in just 140 Japanese characters. The books resonated widely on social media, and the series had passed 600,000 copies in circulation in the programme’s introduction. Eight motifs were selected from the 146 stories across the original three volumes and developed into a continuing television narrative. Screenwriter Kisa Miura, whose work includes Eye Love You and the film Kao Dake ja Suki ni Narimasen, preserves the original’s fleeting atmosphere and emotional immediacy while exploring the characters’ conflicts and growth.

High-school classmates Yuu Hazawa and Mao Osaki grow close through art and begin dating on graduation day. Watching Mao lose himself in painting, Yuu falls so deeply in love that she believes their relationship must be destiny. But going to university means living far apart, and the distance gradually opens a gap between them.

As the pair move from school to university and working life, their surroundings change. In other places and moments beyond their awareness, Mao’s childhood friend and younger sister, two students at the school where Yuu and Mao met, and the busy office worker and clothing buyer find their own lives becoming intertwined. For each of them, the hands of fate begin to move.

The box contains the complete eight-episode drama. Bonus footage includes making-of material, the production announcement press conference and a spin-off drama.
