Sugar Apple Fairy Tale FlyingDog Anime Music

Rei Nakashima makes her CD debut after winning the voice-actor, singer and singer-songwriter category of Inucon!, the artist-discovery audition held to mark FlyingDog's fifteenth anniversary. The Aichi-born performer was eighteen at the time of her debut and had won the grand prix at the audition held the previous year.

Her debut song, Surprise, is the opening theme for the second cour of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, which began broadcasting in July 2023. Bright and refreshing, it expresses her feelings as she takes this new step while also reflecting the anime heroine's determination to work towards her dream.
