Sumire Uesaka Concerts

Sumire Uesaka returned to an audience-attended solo tour for the first time in around three years, following No Future Diary 2019. Cho Kakumei Densetsu visited Chiba, Aichi, Osaka and Tokyo, and this release captures the final performance at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall on May 4, 2022. Songs from across her career make it a concert that returns to her roots.

Her distinctive world and expressive stage presence draw the audience into a performance filled with smiles and emotion. The release preserves that night alongside footage following preparations for the concert.

The bonus programme also includes director’s cuts of All-Japan Revolutionary Folk Tales: Peach Revolution 22 from all four tour stops. Featuring Nana Mizuki’s appearance, these interval films restore scenes that had to be removed for the live presentation. Additional material explores the making of both the tour and the films, and an audio commentary accompanies the concert.
