Summer Pockets Animation

“I never forgot how dazzling it was.” Hairi Takahara spends his summer holiday on Torishirojima to help sort through his late grandmother’s belongings. As he works through the things she left behind, he gradually adapts to an unfamiliar island way of life.

He meets a girl gazing out at the sea, another searching for mysterious butterflies, a girl seeking memories and a pirate ship, and someone living quietly by a lighthouse. New friendships take shape on the island, and Hairi finds himself wishing this summer holiday would never end.

This second box brings together episodes 15–26 and the special-edition Naruse-ke no Shokutaku radio programme. Newly illustrated packaging and a collection of printed and acrylic keepsakes accompany the release.
