Monogatari Series Sony Music Records Anime Music

For its first major-label single, the internet-born creative unit supercell joins forces with guest vocalist nagi. Led by composer ryo and a group of creators, supercell had already passed twenty million combined plays on Nico Nico Douga when this release was announced. The storytelling about young people that unfolds across ryo’s lyrics is one of the unit’s defining strengths, and it is fully present here.

The title song gives voice to that world through nagi, also known to Nico Nico Douga listeners as Gazelle, and serves as the theme for Bakemonogatari. The coupling is the theme for the animated film CENCOROLL, whose promotional video had reached 300,000 YouTube views at the time.
