Tadaima, Okaeri Anime

A heartwarming home drama that brings comfort and a few tears. Ichikawa Ichi's original Tadaima, Okaeri comic, published by Fusion Product, surpassed 3.6 million copies in circulation. Let the whole family share more and more smiles in a story that invites a gentle pause. Its Omegaverse setting is a fictional universe, said to originate in Europe and America, containing three kinds of people: alpha, beta and omega. In that setting, pregnancy is possible irrespective of sex.

Masaki Fujiyoshi married his beloved husband Hiromu and became a full-time househusband. With their son Hikari approaching his second birthday, they move to a suburban town. Prejudice against their unequal marriage leaves Masaki unsure of himself. Sometimes held by anxiety and sadness, he gradually grows stronger with Hiromu and Hikari's support. Becoming more of a family than yesterday, the Fujiyoshi household welcomes viewers into its gentle daily life.

Volume 2 contains episodes 5–8. The cast features Atsushi Tamaru as Masaki Fujiyoshi, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Hiromu Fujiyoshi, Atsumi Tanezaki as Hikari Fujiyoshi, Konomi Kohara as Hinata Fujiyoshi, Taku Yashiro as Yuki Hirai, Kohsuke Toriumi as Tomohiro Matsuo, Shintaro Asanuma as Aoto Mochizuki, Kaede Hondo as Michiru Mochizuki, Toshiki Masuda as Yuto Matsuo and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Shuto Matsuo.

Ichi Ichikawa's new illustration decorates the three-sided case, and a special booklet contains newly drawn manga by the author. Episode 7 has audio commentary by Yashiro and Toriumi. The creditless ending Tsunagiai is included. This 96-minute region-free Blu-ray has Japanese Linear PCM audio without subtitles.
