Tadaima! Osanai Three Brothers Blu-ray Box

The soothing pajama comedy returns. Written by Jiro of Sissonne and performed by actors from the 2.5-dimensional theater scene, it offers a fresh take on the single-setting comedy.

All three Osanai brothers are renowned in their neighborhood for their good looks, yet somehow none can find a partner. They are extraordinarily close. The eldest is named Yuichi, played by Mario Kuroba, because his parents intended him to be their only child. The second, Tenju, played by Yuki Torigoe, was seen as a gift from heaven. The third, Gai, played by Shuto Mashima, was unexpected.

They lived happily together under one roof, but Tenju finds work in Nagoya and Gai moves to Sendai to pursue acting. Only Yuichi remains at home. Left behind, he finally resolves to live on his own. His destination is the second home of Narahara, a junior colleague at work. Somehow his brothers turn up there too.

With Tenju and Gai having left the family home, Yuichi is alone in Tokyo. Determined to establish his own life, he moves into the second residence of the wealthy Narahara. His hoped-for solo life becomes chaotic immediately: his brothers return, a mysterious large man is present, and Narahara comes back to create an uneasy atmosphere.

The two-disc box contains all six episodes, approximately 133 minutes of main-program footage and approximately 113 minutes of extras. The bonuses include making-of footage, the theme song Hitori de Netaku night!, the Osanai Three Brothers watermelon-splitting competition and their Let's Match on the Count of Three game. A sixteen-page booklet is enclosed.
