Takumi-kun Series Drama Blu-ray Box

Shinobu Goto’s popular boys’ love novels, with more than five million copies in circulation, receive their first serial television drama adaptation. Taichi Shiozaki of M!LK and Daigo Kato play the central couple in this series, originally broadcast on BS Fuji and streamed exclusively on FOD from September 2025. This box brings together all six episodes.

Shido Academy is an all-boys boarding school on a remote mountainside. Now in his second year, Takumi Hayama becomes roommates with Giichi Saki, known as Gii, attracting looks of jealousy and hostility from the other students. Unknown to those around them, Takumi and Gii are already a couple.

Although he is happy, Takumi cannot escape the fear that revealing everything about himself will make Gii dislike him. Gii struggles with the distance between them despite their closeness and begins to lose sight of Takumi’s true feelings. When Nozaki, a third-year student, starts persistently pursuing Takumi, Gii’s jealousy and frustration deepen.

Other feelings quietly cross paths within the academy. Izumi Takabayashi, the school’s most admired student, and his roommate Michio Yoshizawa secretly care for one another but cannot bring themselves to say so. First-year Kanemitsu Shingyoji is strongly drawn to Arata Misu, an older student he met during the entrance examination, yet receives only a cold response. Meanwhile, Shun Shibata quietly harbours feelings for Shozo Akaike, a friend of Takumi and Gii.

Bonus material includes making-of footage, the production announcement, trailers and an audio commentary for the first episode with Taichi Shiozaki and Daigo Kato. A three-sided outer box and a 30-page booklet complete the release.
