Tamio Okuda Hitori Matatabi Blu-ray

Hitori Matatabi follows Tamio Okuda through every stage of his 1998 solo tour, from the opening performance to the journey home. Concert footage, travel days and preparations reveal the rhythm of life on the road across Japan. Originally released on April 21, 1999, the documentary is presented with Sony PCL's RS+ upconversion and remastering.

The journey begins at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA on October 5 and Shibuya ON AIR EAST on October 7. October 8 follows the move from Tokyo to Kyoto, ahead of the October 9 show at Kyoto Takutaku. Travel to Osaka and the BANANA HALL performance both take place on October 10, followed by the journey to Nagoya on October 11 and the CLUB DIAMOND HALL concert on October 12. The itinerary returns to Tokyo on October 13 and heads to Sendai on October 14 for the October 15 performance at Nissenren BEEB Basement Theater.

October 16 and 17 cover the trip from Sendai to Obihiro, where Okuda plays LIVE HALL MEGA STONE on October 17. He travels to Sapporo on October 18 and performs at Renaissance Maria Teatro on October 19. October 20 includes both the journey to Hakodate and the Kanemori Hall concert, before the move to Morioka on October 21 and PERSONA on October 22. After returning to Tokyo on October 23, he sets out for Kobe on October 25 and plays CHICKEN GEORGE on October 26. Travel to Niigata follows on October 28, with PHASE on October 29 and the return to Tokyo on October 30.

The final leg starts with Tokyo to Kochi on November 5 and CARAVAN SARY on November 6. November 7 takes the tour to Kumamoto for LIVE BASE CREW on November 8, followed by Hakata DRUM LOGOS on November 9. The November 10 journey to Hiroshima leads to NAMIKI JUNCTION on November 11. Preparations at Nippon Budokan on November 15 precede the November 16 performance; setup at Osaka Castle Hall on November 17 leads to the November 18 show. The documentary closes with the journey from Osaka to Tokyo on November 19.
