TOUR 1997 Matatabi captures Tamio Okuda at Kobe CHICKEN GEORGE on September 18, 1997, and Nippon Budokan on September 25, 1997. His band features Takashi Furuta on drums, Susumu Osada on guitar, Takamune Negishi on bass and Yuta Saito on keyboards. Directed by Hiroyuki Itaya, the concert film combines the Budokan performance's 16mm footage with video recorded at the Kobe club.
The programme opens with "Sore wa Nani ka to Tazunetara," "Koi no Kakera," "MILLEN BOX" and "Tour Men," followed by "Robocchi," "Nobara," "Yo" and "Tebiki no Youna Mono." It continues through "Akumade Drive," "Canoe," "Tegami" and "Coffee," then closes with "Eju Rider," "Circuit no Musume," "Igai na Kotoba" and "Sasurai."
The Blu-ray presents Sony PCL RS+ upconversion, colour grading and remastered audio, with Japanese Linear PCM stereo and 5.1-channel surround options. The 87-minute programme is housed in a sleeve case.
