Technosoft Music Collection: Elemental Master marks the game's 32nd anniversary with a fresh 2022 recording, the fifth release in the Technosoft soundtrack series. The music from the 1990 Mega Drive fantasy action shooter has been digitally recorded anew from original Mega Drive hardware.
Created by the legendary developer Technosoft, Elemental Master returned after 32 years as part of SEGA Genesis Mini 2, the alternative version of the Mega Drive Mini 2 released by Sega in October 2022. Its exciting gameplay, fantastical characters, emotional backdrop and powerful FM-synth sound continue to attract fans. This album captures every background-music piece from the game.
Track 27, Elemental Master -Super Arr Ver.-, is a special bonus arrangement by composer and arranger Kei Takanishi that brings together the spirit of the Technosoft soundtrack series. The booklet contains comments from former Technosoft development director Naosuke Arai, Takanishi and others.
Relive the struggle between spirit-user Ladin and King Gaira, the dark sorcerer commanding the demons, through this anniversary recording. The album is part of the SOUND! SHOCK SERIES.
