The Art of PUI PUI Molcar follows the handmade stop-motion process that brought the guinea-pig vehicles to life. The official artbook begins with the series' origins and early proposals, moving through character and set designs, storyboards, and the construction of puppets, scenic elements and mechanical models.

Behind-the-scenes material explores animation, filming and lighting, with consecutive-frame galleries showing movement taking shape. Sections on voice work, title cards and the ending broaden the production record. Four-view drawings, pose collections, a character guide, official illustrations and guest artwork provide a closer look at the Molcars themselves.

Staff comments, an interview with director Tomoki Misato and an essay on the creative collaborators behind the series accompany the visual material. Supervised by Misato and Shin-Ei Animation, this 176-page Japanese-language artbook is published by SMIRAL.
