The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases Animation

“At last, I can go in search of the peaceful life I have longed for since my previous life.”

Allen takes his expulsion from his family’s ducal household as an opportunity to set out on a carefree journey. A former hero who wants nothing more than to relax in this life finds himself drawn into an unwanted heroic fantasy.

At the time of this release’s announcement, the series had surpassed 750,000 copies in circulation and recorded more than 38 million cumulative page views on Shosetsuka ni Naro. This release includes a booklet containing a newly written novel.

Allen is a boy dismissed as a failure because he has received no divine blessing, known as a Gift. His true identity, however, is that of a former hero who retains the memories and powers of his previous life.

Taking advantage of his banishment from the ducal family, Allen prepares to begin a free and easy journey. Instead, he becomes caught up in an assassination attempt against his former fiancée.

The box has an original design and includes a booklet with a newly written novel. Extras include an audio commentary and creditless opening and ending sequences. Product specifications may change without notice.
