The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn 35th Blu-ray BOX I

Awaken, brave heroes! Fight, Da-Garn! To celebrate the Brave Series’ thirty-fifth anniversary, its third instalment, The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn, makes its Blu-ray debut with a new HD remaster that reveals a striking improvement in picture quality.

When mysterious aliens suddenly attack Earth, young Seiji Takasugi is caught in the fighting and hears a strange voice urging him to protect the planet’s living creatures. That moment awakens the brave robot Da-Garn. The invaders are after Planet Energy, Earth’s life force: if it is destroyed, the planet will perish. As commander of eight heroes led by Da-Garn, Seiji enters a battle on which every living creature’s fate depends.

The first box covers the opening twenty-three episodes. Bonus footage includes the creditless opening and ending sequences and television promotional spots, with an audio commentary for the first episode. Newly drawn digipak artwork accompanies two extensive books.

The explanatory booklet brings together a director interview reworked from DX BRAVEST, character and mechanical designs, early character concepts with director comments, episode introductions and director liner notes, illustrations, Da-Garn Tsushin material and the original broadcast list. The separate CHARACTER & ART FILE collects character and background art settings.
