The Checkers Concerts

The Checkers’ legendary 1987 GO Tour performance at Nakano Sunplaza is presented in its complete form. Newly discovered footage found in 2023, the year of the band’s fortieth anniversary, became the basis of the concert film released in cinemas in March 2024.

At the time, The Checkers mainly performed in large venues such as stadiums and the Nippon Budokan, making the Nakano Sunplaza show a rarely seen concert for which only a small number of fans could obtain tickets. This complete Blu-ray edition presents the restored footage and adds songs that were not shown in the theatrical version.
