The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World Animation

The much-discussed series with more than 1.4 million copies in circulation receives its long-awaited anime adaptation! Use an extraordinary online-shopping ability to aim for the ultimate slow life. This popular fantasy began online and is adapted from the manga serialised in the monthly G Fantasy magazine. Its appeal comes to life across both peaceful everyday moments and battle scenes.

Kenichi is a single man approaching forty who suddenly finds himself transported to another world. Wandering a dangerous forest with no idea what has happened, he discovers that he can use the enormous online-shopping site Shangri-La. This extraordinary ability lets him exchange items from the other world for money and buy products from modern Japan.

Putting his ability to work, Kenichi starts a business and quickly establishes himself as a merchant. His goal is a slow life in another world: a carefree, self-sufficient existence in the forest outside town. But girls drawn to his remarkable talents keep appearing, and he is swept into one problem after another. Will this middle-aged man ever achieve the quiet life he longs for? His otherworldly fantasy adventure begins!

Among the distinctive people around him are Primula, the gentle eldest daughter of the Marlow trading company who nevertheless puts business first; Anemone, an unfortunate girl sold to a slave trader; Myare, a friendly and lively beast-person who loves spices; and Nyamena, the muscular beast-person employed as Primula’s guard.
