University student Natsuka has been in love for four years with Hakushima, his best friend since high school. Unable to confess because he cannot bear to tarnish Hakushima’s dazzling perfection, he tries to contain his overwhelming feelings through a casual physical relationship with Seno, treating him as a substitute for the person he really loves.
One day, Seno’s motorcycle is involved in an accident with Hakushima, who is left unconscious. Seno wakes up and declares, “I’m Hakushima!”
With the soul of the man he loves now apparently inside the body of his familiar partner, Natsuka catches himself thinking that perhaps, in this body, he can finally touch Hakushima...
