The Fish Tale Original Soundtrack brings Pascals' uniquely open, airy acoustic-orchestra sound to the film starring Non and directed by Shuichi Okita. The story humorously portrays the life of the widely known Sakana-kun.
Its central character, Meebo, loves fish but struggles with ordinary things. Even while navigating the rough waters of society, Meebo stays true to that passion. Pascals, whose music has accompanied dramas such as Nagi's Long Vacation and If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student, as well as films and stage productions, provides the score.
The 16-track album also includes music featuring Sakana-kun on bass clarinet. Its booklet contains a three-way discussion between members of Pascals and director Shuichi Okita.
