The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil Animation

That day, the person I met was an angel like a devil. The dark-hearted romantic comedy serialised in Dengeki Maoh becomes a television anime, bringing both its cute romantic-comedy scenes and forceful battles to life.

To resist Heaven’s offensive, the demon Masatora Akutsu comes to the human world in search of someone charismatic enough to inspire the demon realm. Concealing his identity, he transfers into a school and meets the lovely Lily Amane.

Akutsu immediately tries to recruit her, only to discover that Lily is an angel, the demons’ natural enemy. He tries to make her fall from grace to protect the demon realm, while Lily seeks to reform him for a purpose of her own.

Each is determined to bring the other over to their side. The battle between angel and demon to make the other fall begins.

Lily usually maintains an innocent front, but she has a calculating nature. Akutsu’s friend Yuya Tanigawa looks gentle and reserved, yet occasionally shows a darker side. Another friend, Kensaku Hirota, is an impulsive boy who repeatedly declares his love to cute girls and is repeatedly rejected. His childhood friend Yuka Tanahashi calls herself his girlfriend and burns with rivalry towards Lily. Liz, Akutsu’s superior in the demon realm, is an unwitting cosplay enthusiast.

Supplementary footage includes the opening without credits and web previews.
