The Imaginary Original Soundtrack accompanies the feature from Studio Ponoc, the studio behind Mary and the Witch's Flower. Its varied musical program brings together the theme song by Grammy-winning artists, songs heard within the film and the background score.
The theme song, Nothing's Impossible, is a sweeping ballad pairing American duo A Great Big World with American singer Rachel Platten. A Great Big World's collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Say Something, won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015. Platten's Fight Song continues to resonate on social media as an anthem of self-encouragement. Their collaboration delivers the heartfelt message that nothing is impossible, echoing the film itself.
Alongside Nothing's Impossible, the album includes Voglio una casa, Lascia ch'io pianga and the introduction to Also sprach Zarathustra, as well as the score by agehasprings. This 28-track CD has a different program from the separately released vinyl edition.
