The Legend & Butterfly Blu-ray

A moving epic depicting thirty turbulent years in the lives of Oda Nobunaga and Nohime on an unprecedented scale!

Joined by a political marriage, the all-show Nobunaga, played by Takuya Kimura, and Nohime, played by Haruka Ayase, who secretly plans his assassination, are as incompatible as oil and water. One day civil war erupts in Nohime's homeland and her father dies. Losing her reason to exist, she tries to take her own life. It is Nobunaga himself who gives her a place and a reason to live again.

When an enormous army attacks and corners him, Nobunaga confides his fears only to Nohime. She encourages him when he is giving up, and he miraculously wins the fierce Battle of Okehazama. The bond born from this grows stronger, and eventually unifying the country becomes their shared dream. But through battle after battle, Nobunaga transforms into a ruthless Demon King. Knowing his true self, Nohime struggles desperately to hold him back, while fate moves relentlessly toward Honnoji.

Nobunaga, feared as a demon king, and Nohime, who sought freedom like a butterfly: what was the true dream these two saw as they raced through thirty turbulent years together? The viewing classification advises guidance for elementary-school children.
