Trails through Daybreak receives a fully rearranged musical treatment in the third Super Ultimate album. Eleven selections from Kuro no Kiseki, the opening chapter of the Trails series' Republic arc, are newly arranged and recorded rather than simply reproduced from the game soundtrack.

Vocalists Megumi Sasaka, Tatsuhiko Yoshida and Yuri Suehiro join a lineup featuring saxophone, trumpet, guitars, bass, violin and keyboards. The program moves from Phantom Thief Grimcats to Rise of the GRENDEL and Knights of Asteria before Diabolic Howl closes the album.
