The Legend of Zelda Nippon Columbia Game Music

The Legend of Zelda’s thirtieth-anniversary concert brings the series’ music to a full orchestra. Since its first release for the Family Computer Disk System in 1986, the series has remained beloved by generations of players. To mark the anniversary, a concert tour began in Kyoto on October 1, 2016 and visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nagoya, with six performances at five venues including additional dates. Many performances sold out, drawing enthusiastic Zelda fans.

This album captures the October 16, 2016 performance at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Concert Hall. Conducted by Taizo Takemoto, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra performs favourite music from across the series, celebrating the enduring appeal of thirty years of Zelda music.
