The Little Lies We All Tell Anime

An alien, a runaway ninja, a psychic and a boy dressed as a girl: four unusual friends conceal their true identities from one another in a new kind of chaotic school comedy.

Rikka, Chiyo, Sekine and Tsubasa are a close-knit group attending the same girls' school. They look like ordinary second-year middle school students, but each has a secret that cannot be revealed to anyone. Could a careless mistake destroy their classroom, or even the Earth? Although these four are full of quirks and secrets, their lies allow them to stay together. Perhaps lying is where friendship begins.

The box contains all eleven episodes on two main-program Blu-rays and a bonus Blu-ray. The voice drama 'Could it be... have we... switched bodies!?' is newly written by series composer Megumi Shimizu and supervised by original creator Madoka Kashihara. Character commentary looking back on those days and moments is newly written by Rie Koshika and also supervised by Madoka Kashihara.

The extras include The Little Lies We All Tell: Just Before Broadcast! Become the Foundation of the Revolution!! Special, featuring Chiemi Tanaka, Natsumi Murakami, Ayane Sakura and Megumi Han, as well as the creditless opening and ending sequences. Bonus footage totals 76 minutes. A visual book is enclosed, and the three-sided case features a new illustration by character designer Ruriko Watanabe.

The cast features Chiemi Tanaka as Rikka, Natsumi Murakami as Chiyo, Ayane Sakura as Sekine, Megumi Han as Tsubasa/Tsuyoshi, Yu Serizawa as Tsubasa's older sister, Yuya Hirose as Hanzo, Yoji Ueda as Brian-sensei, Tomoko Kaneda as Maskuma and Yoshitada Otsuka as narrator.
