The Little Prince Petit Prince Anime Library Vol. 121 Blu-ray

This timeless classic, overflowing with dreams and fairy-tale wonder, animates the world-beloved children's book by Saint-Exupery. More than forty years after its broadcast, it finally makes its long-awaited Blu-ray debut in unprecedented picture quality. The extras include the previously unreleased pilot of The Little Prince, along with slideshows of precious contemporary planning documents and art settings. Creditless opening and ending sequences complete this must-have release for fans.

The series adapts The Little Prince, the representative work of French children's author Saint-Exupery. Petit Prince, the little prince, lived alone on a small asteroid. His only friend was the selfish Star Rose, but in time they quarreled and parted. The prince eventually learned about Earth and set out to find true friends there.

The two-disc release contains all thirty-nine episodes. Because of the original source materials, episode nine does not include its next-episode preview, and episodes thirty-six through thirty-nine do not include their ending sequences. Please be aware of these omissions.

Video extras include the pilot of The Little Prince, creditless opening and ending sequences, a planning-document slideshow and an art-setting slideshow. An explanatory guide is enclosed.
