Connecting two worlds, the shop is run by a sister and brother who accept unusual requests from the customers who find their way inside. Makura Kurama's commercial debut combines short manga with color illustrations to tell these fantastical encounters.
The collection includes The Plague Doctor and the Deer Man, Twins in Love, The Morpho Boy, Lonely Banksia, The Young Man Who Loved a Doll, The Two Marias, The Mermaid and the Quiet Sea, The White Man, and October 31. The White Man was newly created for this book, while The Plague Doctor and the Deer Man first appeared in 2018.
