The Notes of Museum presents Music for Four Gardens, the fourth album from the duo of pianist Tomoko Togawa and guitarist Keigo Kobayashi. Touches of gypsy swing and European jazz run through approachable melodies and a comfortable, inviting sound that takes the listener on a journey.
Having previously collaborated with painters and photographers, the duo turns here to pressed-flower artist Nobuo Sugino for the artwork. Their work in film music has also attracted attention in recent years, alongside regular performances with a five-piece live ensemble. The album contains sixteen tracks on one CD.
