The Proper Way to Write Love Blu-ray Box

An awkward romance grows with the person you once hated. “This was the face I wanted to see.” One of popular boys-love manga creator Ogeretsu Tanaka’s early classics becomes a live-action love story starring Genki Iwahashi and Satoru Soma. Iwahashi, a solo artist active in Japan and overseas, returns to a leading role in terrestrial television drama for the first time in seven years as Hiro Suzuki. His partner is played by Soma, known for his role as Genba Bureki/Boon Orange in the 2024 Super Sentai series Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. The adaptation preserves the manga’s world while adding original stories that explore the pair’s relationship in greater depth.

In high school, Hiro was an inconspicuous member of the gardening club. Natsuo Washizawa, who shamelessly kept approaching him, became a painful part of the past he would rather forget. Years later, Hiro has left his old self behind and reinvented himself as a hairstylist when he unexpectedly meets Natsuo again. Hiro is shaken, but Natsuo does not seem to recognize him—and even confesses that he wants to date him. Deciding that he will leave Natsuo heartbroken after a month, Hiro agrees to go out with him for revenge. Yet these two people, both hopelessly awkward about love, begin a romance that is sometimes funny and sometimes bittersweet.
