The Reason We Fall in Love Blu-ray Box

The Reason We Fall in Love follows the hesitant romances of adults working at an advertising company. Aoi Morita, now in her third year at the firm, finds her quiet, blunt-speaking manager Tomoya Kurosawa intimidating. When a senior colleague mocks her height in an elevator, Kurosawa unexpectedly steps in to defend her. Aoi begins wanting to understand him, but he has deliberately kept his distance from romance and the complications it can bring.

Their colleagues face their own uncertain beginnings. Ryo Sakamoto is delighted to work on a project with Ayaka Ichikawa, a senior employee he has long admired, while Kei Ozu finds herself captivated by Hotaru Oshima. An unexpected drink alone brings Aoi and Kurosawa closer, setting their relationship in motion. Fuma Kikuchi and Rinka Kumada lead this adaptation of ma2's manga.

The box includes all ten episodes across two Blu-rays, plus a third disc of supplementary material. Alongside both parts of the spin-off Another Story, it contains a full production press conference, making-of footage, an extended cast discussion and two special videos pairing the drama with the timelesz theme song Because. A 24-page visual booklet accompanies the discs.

The main series runs 233 minutes, with a further 117 minutes of supplementary video. These region-free Blu-rays feature Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio. Japanese accessibility subtitles are supplied for the main episodes only.
