The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World sends a fiercely loyal sentai hero into a fantasy realm where his powers and enthusiasm are anything but ordinary. Five warriors united by their bonds, the Kizuna Five, have reached their final battle against the evil organisation Zetsuender. As his teammates fall wounded, Kizuna Red carries their hopes into a lone confrontation with the enemy leader.
The battle appears to cost him his life. Instead, he awakens in an unfamiliar world. Determined to keep helping people wherever he finds himself, Togo Asagaki becomes an adventurer, transforms into Kizuna Red and throws himself into new battles with the same wholehearted faith in friendship that guided his old team. Torakichi Nakayoshi's manga brings together magical adventure and the exuberant traditions of Japanese team heroes.
The animated adaptation is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, with series composition by Atsuhiro Tomioka and animation by Satelight. Tomoya Ito voices Togo, joined by Konomi Inagaki as the mage Yihdra, Minami Tanaka as Princess Teltina and Tomohiro Ono as her swordsman companion Rosie. Their contrasting personalities give Red's relentless enthusiasm plenty to collide with.
Volume 1 contains episodes 1-4, running approximately 94 minutes on one region-free Blu-ray. On-disc extras include the textless opening, episode previews and the first part of a filmed promotional special visiting a tokusatsu filming location. The programme features Japanese Linear PCM audio without subtitles.
