The Story of Perrine Compact Blu-ray Box
ペリーヌ物語 COMPACT Blu-rayボックス
To be loved, you must first love others. Celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of World Masterpiece Theater, The Story of Perrine arrives in its first Blu-ray box. Perrine’s journey comes vividly to life once again in a remastered edition.
From India to France. After losing her parents during a long, difficult journey, the young Perrine reaches the village of Maraucourt to visit her grandfather, her only remaining relative. When she sees his cold, stern expression, however, she loses the courage to introduce herself.
Keeping her identity as his granddaughter hidden, Perrine decides to work in the factory he runs. In time, her capable work and her character earn his trust, and she becomes his secretary. Will the day come when the truth is revealed?
Video extras include the creditless opening and ending. The collection is housed in a storage box featuring a newly drawn illustration.
