The Unaware Atelier Master Blu-ray Box

A fast-moving fantasy full of misunderstandings! The much-discussed novel, winner of the Readers’ Prize at the eleventh AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Awards and with more than 750,000 copies in circulation, becomes a long-awaited anime. Its well-loved hero excels without ever realising it, surrounded by a lively cast whose distinctive personalities keep the story moving.

Kind-hearted Kurt works as the errand boy for a party of heroes, until he is suddenly thrown out for being “useless.” To make matters worse, every one of his combat aptitudes turns out to be the lowest possible rank. To earn a living, he begins helping out with all kinds of jobs—and astonishes everyone he meets with talents that seem beyond human ability.

In fact, Kurt’s aptitude in every field except combat is the highest SSS rank. Yet he has no idea, dismissing his extraordinary achievements as perfectly ordinary. Could his unthinking actions end up saving people, towns and even entire countries? A boy cast out by the heroes sets off on a bewildering journey. This is just such an “ordinary”—or perhaps not so ordinary—story.

The box contains all twelve episodes, with audio commentary and creditless opening and ending sequences. A three-sided box newly illustrated by original novel illustrator Zounose holds the set, accompanied by a newly drawn comic and a booklet.
