The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Volume 1 Blu-ray

Even in death, the summit remains his goal. The Unwanted Undead Adventurer brings its tale of inhuman reincarnation to television animation after the series passed two million copies in circulation. It began ranking highly on Shosetsuka ni Naro after serialization started in September 2016, was published in book form by Overlap Novels in October 2017 and received a Comic Gardo manga adaptation the following month. Ryota Suzuki, Mikako Komatsu and fellow rising performers bring this fantasy of a man searching for a path back to humanity to life. Volume 1 opens the story with episodes 1–4.

“I will become a Mithril-class adventurer.” Ten years after becoming an adventurer with that determination in his heart, Rentt continues to hone his swordsmanship, build his knowledge and contribute to the guild, yet remains a low-ranking Bronze adventurer. He still ventures into the labyrinth almost every day, refusing to give up. When he discovers an unexplored area of the low-level Labyrinth of the Moon’s Reflection, a dragon devours him. Believing his life has ended, he unexpectedly regains consciousness as the weakest of monsters: a skeleton. Rather than despair, he looks for whatever he can still do. He decides to use the monsters’ ability known as Existential Evolution to become a stronger creature and find a way to become human again. Now undead, Rentt sets his sights on Mithril rank once more.
