The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess Animation

A shut-in vampire princess becomes a great general? The bluff-filled comic fantasy by Kotei Kobayashi, with illustrations by Riichu, comes to Blu-ray. Relive the dazzling exploits of Lady Komari, a beauty said to appear only once in a hundred million years, in Volume 1, containing episodes 1–4. Komarin! Komarin! Komarin! Komarin! Komarin!

Terakomari Gandesblood is the daughter of the prestigious Gandesblood noble family in the Mulnite Empire. Despite being a vampire, Komari cannot drink blood. Unable to use magic, hopeless at sports and unable to grow taller, she has spent three years shut away at home. Then her doting father finds her an extraordinary job: one of the Seven Crimson Heavens, the empire’s great generals. Normally reserved for its strongest warriors, this punishing position requires her to wage war against another country and win once every three months. Her subordinates are former criminals, each eager to overthrow their new commander.

Komari wants to refuse, but the emperor appointed her personally, so even resigning is forbidden. Exposure of her true abilities would mean instant ruin. Nevertheless, armed with bluff and cuteness, she carries out her duties. “What I will do is a simple act of conquest! I, Terakomari Gandesblood, will kill the generals of the other five countries by force and proclaim Mulnite’s might to the entire world!” The supposedly strongest vampire princess begins a campaign destined to make history.

Conditional physical extras include a newly illustrated Riichu sleeve, a newly illustrated Tomoyuki Shitaya jacket, a special booklet featuring a new Kotei Kobayashi story, a reduced-format printed storyboard for the first episode and picture-label disc artwork. These extras are available only while supplies last and are not guaranteed.
