The Way of the Househusband The Cinema Blu-ray

A legendary gangster becomes a full-time househusband! The laugh-out-loud comedy powers up for the big screen and comes to home video.

Tatsu Kuroda, played by Hiroshi Tamaki, was once a legendary gangster feared as the Immortal Dragon. He left the underworld when he married Miku, played by Haruna Kawaguchi, and now lives peacefully as the ultimate househusband with her and their daughter Himawari, played by Tamaki Shiratori, who is not related to him by blood.

One day, vicious property developers led by Kondo, played by Kotaro Yoshida, arrive in town. Their target is the land occupied by Karyu Nursery School, whose principal Shiraishi is played by Yumi Adachi. As Kondo's men persistently harass the nursery, Tatsu and his former subordinate Masa, played by Jun Shison, volunteer as bodyguards. Yet Kondo's behaviour only escalates.

Torajiro, played by Kenichi Takito, a former hard-fighting gangster who now runs a crepe shop, joins Tatsu's allies, along with his sister Koharu, played by Marika Matsumoto, a former leader of a women's motorcycle gang. Problems keep multiplying: a boy abandoned outside Tatsu's house sparks a secret-child uproar, while Koharu falls for Tatsu's honourable nature and begins a romantic rivalry with Miku. To end the conflict and settle everything, Tatsu launches the greatest summer festival in history!
