The Women in the Lakes Blu-ray

People continue to commit sins. People continue to love other people.

A bedridden hundred-year-old man has been killed. Who did it, and for what purpose? Present and past: what terrible memories are buried in the lake? Young detective Keisuke and veteran Isami from Saiko Police Station select suspects within the care facility and interrogate them relentlessly. In the shadows of the investigation, Keisuke develops a distorted desire to dominate Kayo, a care worker he meets during questioning.

Meanwhile, weekly-magazine reporter Ikeda follows the case and discovers a connection between this killing and an incident of drug-related harm that the police station has covered up. Her investigation reveals a horrifying truth hidden since the past. It drags darkness from the past beyond what we could imagine. What lies ahead for the male detective and female suspect, who have awakened to desires from which there is no turning back?
