The World Ends with You Square Enix Game Music

When The World Ends with You arrived on Nintendo DS in summer 2007, its music went beyond the usual role of background music, with vocal songs making up half of the score. Considered unusual within the industry, its sound nevertheless won overwhelming support from fans.

For this arranged album, the game’s composer remixes a vocal-focused selection in pursuit of an even richer sound. Fans voted through Square Enix’s website, and the most popular choices were selected for the collection. It also brings together all the new songs written for the game’s overseas edition.
