THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT Concerts

THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT's THEE 30TH project began with the aim of preserving their work for future generations as the band approached the thirtieth anniversary of its debut in February 2026. The project brings the legendary final concert film BURNING MOTORS GO LAST HEAVEN to Blu-ray for the first time, released on October eleventh, exactly twenty-two years after that final show.

In September 2003, at the height of their popularity, the band announced that they would split up. They then embarked on the nationwide LAST HEAVEN TOUR, whose final show took place at Makuhari Messe on October eleventh before an all-standing audience of thirty-seven thousand. That final concert became BURNING MOTORS GO LAST HEAVEN, released on DVD in 2003.

This precious concert footage, which holds a place in Japanese rock history, reaches Blu-ray for the first time with the opening footage that was absent from the original DVD. The limited box also brings the live recording to vinyl, with a TMGE slipmat and deluxe box packaging. The vinyl edition closes with the studio recording of GIRL FRIEND.
