Tis Time for Torture, Princess Anime

The world's gentlest torture fantasy anime, guaranteed to bring a smile, returns for its second season. Years have passed since the Royal Army and the Hellhorde began their conflict. The Princess, both royalty and commander of the Royal Army's Third Legion, has been captured by the Hellhorde.

Princess, it is time for your torture. What awaits her in confinement is a succession of agonizing temptations: soft, freshly baked toast; steaming bowls of late-night ramen; and time to play with adorable animals. Mercilessly confronted with delicious meals and delightful games, can the Princess withstand the torture and protect the kingdom's secrets?

All 12episodes of Season 2 are included. The set features a newly illustrated wraparound slipcase and digipack. Video extras include promotional videos and creditless opening and ending sequences. Four audio commentaries are also included: two recordings with original author Robinson Haruhara and Haruka Shiraishi, and two with Shiraishi, Chikahiro Kobayashi and Shizuka Ito.

The series adapts the manga by Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei, published in Shueisha's Jump Comics. Yoko Kanamori directs, Keiichiro Ochi handles series composition and Toshiya Kono designs the characters. Masaru Yokoyama provides the music, Jin Aketagawa directs the sound and PINE JAM produces the animation.
