Tokiko-san no Toki Stage Play Blu-ray
舞台 時子さんのトキ
I thought it was all right. Because I was happy. After her divorce, Tokiko has grown distant from her son. A street singer reminds her of him, and she has lent the young man a large amount of money. He fills the emptiness and loneliness she has carried inside.
One day, a man named Kashiwagi arrives at her shop claiming to represent a nonprofit organisation. He asks several questions about the singer before suggesting that she may be being deceived. The money she has lent now exceeds ten million yen. But it is only a loan, she insists. The arrival of this utterly impertinent man sends her life wildly off course.
The release presents the stage play alongside extended interviews with its two leading performers, the final Osaka performance’s curtain call from September 27, 2020 and highlights from the after-talk sessions.
