The Kindaichi Case Files Epic Records Japan Anime Music

Formed in June 2013 and active mainly through stage performances from August onward, the new Tokyo Performance Doll makes its recording debut with BRAND NEW STORY. Seiko Fujibayashi, whose writing spans artists such as E-girls and KARA as well as anime themes including One Piece, supplies the lyrics. The music is by Toru Watanabe, known for his work with Kumi Koda and Ami Suzuki.

Ryo Eguchi provides the arrangement, bringing experience with Ikimonogakari, Negoto, School Food Punishment and Hatsune Miku’s Magical Mirai 2013. The coupling revisits Diamond wa Kizutsukanai from the original TPD’s repertoire in a new arrangement of the classic written by Masao Urino and Tetsuya Komuro. BRAND NEW STORY is the opening theme for The Kindaichi Case Files R.
