Tokyo Revengers Anime

The television anime Tokyo Revengers arrives on Blu-ray. Ken Wakui, the creator of Shinjuku Swan, presents his latest epic, Tokyo Revengers, as the hugely popular work finally becomes an anime.

The most passionate and heartbreaking time-leap suspense story begins. Takemichi Hanagaki is a hopeless part-timer whose life has hit rock bottom. He learns that Hinata Tachibana, the only girlfriend he has ever had, whom he dated in middle school, has been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang, the most vicious and dangerous criminal group.

The next day, someone pushes Takemichi from behind while he is standing on a railway platform. He falls onto the tracks and prepares to die, but when he opens his eyes, he has somehow leapt twelve years into the past. Returning to his middle-school days, the high point of his life, he begins taking revenge on life itself: to save his girlfriend and change the person who has always run away.

Volume 1 contains episodes 1-4. The announced package includes a 68-page special booklet, a three-sided slipcase and a digipak. Bonus videos comprise Chibi Reve episodes 1-4 and creditless opening and ending sequences.
