Tomorrow in the Finder Deluxe Edition Blu-ray

Sei Hiraizumi takes his first leading role after a sixty-year career, opposite promising next-generation actor Masaya Sano of Ae!group. Fifty-eight years separate them. Two people unable to express themselves honestly weave a beautiful, gentle and moving story.

One of Japan's distinguished actors, Hiraizumi plays a veteran photographer in his first starring role, a character linked to his own hobby of photography. As his contrasting counterpart, the film casts Sano, a member of Ae!group, a highly regarded group expected to help lead the next generation of entertainment, and a promising actor. The group made its CD debut in May 2024; Sano works across television drama, variety and other fields.

Samejima, played by Sei Hiraizumi, is a taciturn photographer running a fading photo studio. Rising photographer Taichi, played by Masaya Sano, is captivated by his photographs, gives up a glittering career, and asks to become his apprentice. Taichi, who has avoided even communication with his own family, cannot hide his surprise at how carefully Samejima talks with visitors and involves himself deeply beyond the ordinary photographer-subject relationship.

As Samejima desperately runs around to help people with their worries and problems, Taichi feels swept along but begins to recognize what he lacks. He also learns that Samejima and his family have their own unresolved feelings that they have turned away from. The changing Taichi takes a step towards a future without regret. An unexpected miracle follows, bringing tears.
