Tomorrow's Nadja Anniversary Blu-ray Box

Tomorrow's Nadja celebrates the twentieth anniversary of its anime adaptation with a Blu-ray box! All 50 episodes of Tomorrow's Nadja, the original anime for girls produced by Toei Animation and broadcast over one year from February 2003, arrive in a Blu-ray box. This historical epic is set in and around early-twentieth-century Europe. Through the journeys of its heroine Nadja, it dramatically depicts relationships between parents and children and contemporary attitudes towards love. Keiichi Oku's music for the series received acclaim in Japan and overseas. Several years after the original broadcast, it was selected for the 2009 JASRAC International Award. The opening theme is sung by the late singer and actress Minako Honda, while the ending theme is performed by Ami Koshimizu, the voice of Nadja. The original masters have been digitally remastered for this high-rate SD release. Approximately ten hours of episodes fit on each disc, allowing extended consecutive viewing in compact, affordable packaging. The picture remains standard definition; this is not a high-definition conversion.

Story This is the story of a girl who travelled beyond the door of fate... About a hundred years ago, Nadja, a girl living at Applefield Orphanage in England, was approaching her thirteenth birthday. One day, she learns that the mother she thought had died is still alive. Nadja joins the Dandelion troupe of travelling performers and opens the door of fate, setting out on a journey to search for her mother!
