Tomoyo Harada's voice carries through the clear air of Karin, a six-song mini album built around winter. Active as both an actress and singer since 1982, she brings a poised, transparent vocal character to six new recordings. The project focuses on the increasingly expressive singing heard after her fortieth debut anniversary.
Goro Ito, an important musical partner for nearly twenty years, oversees the production. Enon Kawatani returns after Violet, joining longtime collaborators Hiroshi Takano and lyricist Kumiko Takahashi. Sakura Fujiwara and soraya, the duo of Kento Tsubosaka and Kurena Ishikawa, contribute for the first time.
Cattleya, winter pupa and Asa ni lead into Indigo Blue, Hinemosu LOVE and Serendipity. The songs offer warmth against the season's clear atmosphere, while Izumi Shiokawa supplies a newly drawn portrait for the cover. This standard edition contains one SHM-CD.
