Tomoyuki Yara THE NEWLY Blu-ray and Live CD
屋良朝幸/TOMOYUKI YARA THE NEWLY
Tomoyuki Yara has steadily honed his performance skills and built a strong record in dance and choreography. His new-style dance and live entertainment show, TOMOYUKI YARA THE NEWLY, which he produced himself, makes its long-awaited debut on video.
Beginning with THE YOUNG LOVE DISCOTHEQUE, which he started producing in 2018, the project culminates in TOMOYUKI YARA THE NEWLY in 2024, marking both the achievement of that journey and a new beginning.
This commemorative release captures the Tokyo performance held at 18:00 on January 31, chosen from the show’s five performances. Alongside the live show, it includes selected footage from Osaka and the guests who appeared that day.
The release presents the complete performances of GREATER’z CREW, the one-day-only unit whose solo dances and engaging performances drew considerable attention.
Interviews reveal Yara’s thoughts on the project he began in 2018, alongside backstage footage. Bonus footage focuses on the making of the Tokyo shows and includes edited highlights from earlier live performances.
