TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You Animation

Adorably cute, and utterly precious!

Why do people marry? The hit anime spreading cuteness and heartfelt affection around the world returns for its second season. Its original manga, serialised in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday, had more than 4.6 million copies in circulation when this release was announced. The story’s appeal continues to grow, following its creator’s twentieth anniversary in 2022.

“One person alone cannot give it form. Together, we pledge our love.”

From their fateful encounter and proposal to newlywed life in a rundown apartment, wedding rings and meeting the parents, the young couple have even weathered the destruction of their apartment by fire. Now they deepen their love in a house from the Showa era. The husband’s name is Nasa Yuzaki, and his bride is Tsukasa.

Life with his irresistibly cute wife is full of excitement and happy anticipation. Aya and Kaname of the Arisugawa family, who have looked after them, the innocent and easily deceived Chitose and her maids, and wonderful new friends make their newlywed days livelier than ever. Just what will become of the couple’s wedding ceremony?

The box features a newly illustrated jacket and a special booklet containing a newly drawn comic. It also includes a specially recorded edition of Toni Radio, the programme celebrating Tsukasa and Nasa’s adorable, precious newlywed life, along with creditless opening and ending sequences. Product specifications may change.
