Toshio Osumi's Caravan receives its first vinyl release in a re-edited 180g pressing. Originally released on CD in 2019, the album is part of the Japanese jazz catalogue that has attracted listeners around the world.
Drummer Toshio Osumi leads a group with Toshiyuki Sekine on piano, Yutaka Yokoyama on bass and Takuya Osumi on saxophone. Takako Afuso provides vocals on The Jody Grind. Caravan and Poinciana share the first side with that vocal performance, while Naima, Dat Dere and I'll Remember April complete the second.
